Why test?

Wiring inspection should be carried out to reduce the risk of fire. It is determined by the Fire Safety Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 238.

How often should I check?

The test should be done every ten years
If the facility or site has an explosive atmosphere – every two years
If the object has a chemically aggressive environment – once a year

How is the test done?

During the inspection, the whole object is surveyed. All premises are surveyed. Electrical installations are tested both visually and instrumentally.

What measurements are being made?

Cable insulation resistance measurements
Testing of the earthing conductor (protective conductor) metal bond
Ground circuit resistance test
Lightning protection system inspection
Thermal testing of electrical switchgear and junction boxes

What will I get after the test?

After the completion of the work, a wiring test documentation shall be prepared consisting of:

Title page
Content
Decision on the registration of a merchant in the Register of Construction Merchants
Professional third party liability insurance
Company Registration licence
Opinion
Wiring Inspection Report
Wiring contact test report
Defect statement (if defects are detected)
Electrical single line circuits
Certificate (Measurement and verification of electrical equipment technical parameters)
Calibration certificates for measuring equipment

How long does the dossier take?

Small objects within 1-2 working days
average objects within 3-7 business days
Large facilities within 8-12 business days
